How to Download Facebook Videos
Follow these simple instructions to save public Facebook videos and Reels to your computer, tablet, or smartphone.
Step 1: Copy Link
Obtain the public video or Reel link from the browser address bar or mobile Share sheet.
Step 2: Check Available Options
Paste the URL into DownMigo to check available resolution and audio options.
Step 3: Save MP4
Click your chosen quality (HD or SD) to trigger a direct progressive MP4 download to storage.
Desktop Instructions (Windows, Mac, Linux)
Open Facebook in any modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and navigate to the public video post or Reel you want to save.
Highlight the address in the browser address bar at the top, right-click, and select Copy (or press Ctrl+C / Cmd+C). You can also click the three dots on the post and choose Copy link.
Visit DownMigo, paste the link into the input field, and click Download.
Once video options appear, choose between HD and SD. Your browser downloads the progressive MP4 directly to your default Downloads folder.
iPhone and iPad Instructions (iOS / iPadOS Safari)
In the Facebook app, tap the Share button on the video or Reel.
Select Copy link from the available sharing options.
Open Safari, navigate to DownMigo, and click the Paste button in the tool.
Tap Download. When the candidate card loads, tap Download for your preferred resolution. Safari will show a confirmation prompt. Tap Download.
The file saves to your Apple Files app under Downloads. From Files, tap Share and select Save Video if you want to store it in your Photos library.
Android Instructions (Chrome, Firefox, Samsung Internet)
In the Facebook app, tap the Share button on the post or tap the three-dot menu.
Tap Copy link to save the URL to your clipboard.
Open Chrome or your preferred mobile browser, go to DownMigo, and paste the link into the downloader input.
Tap Download, review the available quality options, and tap Download. The file will save directly to your device storage.
Important Practical Tips and Browser Variations
Browser variations: If your browser displays the video inside a new tab instead of saving it, right-click the video (or tap the player menu on mobile) and select Download video or Save video as....
Expired links: Facebook video stream tokens are temporary. Please complete your download promptly after extracting. If a download stalls, re-submit the URL on DownMigo for fresh stream tokens.
Audio availability: If the original source video has no audio track or was platform-muted, DownMigo informs you before download.
