Select resolution: Review the detected video resolutions. YouTube often provides higher resolutions (such as 1080p and 720p) as separate video and audio tracks, which require server preparation. Standard progressive streams download immediately.
  4. 4
Preparation and cancellation: When choosing an option requiring preparation, our server merges both tracks into a synchronized MP4 file in temporary storage. While a video is in line or preparing, you can click Cancel preparation at any time to cancel the task and choose another format.
  5. 5
Save the prepared MP4: Once preparation completes, click Save Prepared MP4 to download the finished file to your device.

Desktop and Mobile Saving Guidance

Where downloaded files are saved depends on your browser settings and operating system. Expand your device below for specific guidance:

Downloaded files are typically saved to your system Downloads folder. Depending on your browser settings, you may instead be prompted to choose a destination folder each time you download.

Browser tip: If a video plays inside a new browser tab instead of downloading, right-click the video player (or click the three-dots player menu) and choose Save video as... or Download video.

Important note: Video download links contain temporary security tokens and expire after a short period. Save your video promptly after generating download links. If a download stalls, re-paste the URL on DownMigo to generate a fresh link.
